Inspired by our Indian roots, Uvaacha translates to ‘say’ in Sanskrit. 

We’re a conscious brand that makes fine quality, minimalist products that fit into everyday‘s life. While we’ve begun our journey with clothes, we hope to create products that will go on to become part of your life, outlive trends and can be shared through generations.

The idea behind Uvaacha is to create something beautiful with the help of women artisans from India. They are the soul of the brand and it gives us joy that our work helps employ them, and helps develop craft skills in remote Indian villages.

Uvaacha is designed for the thoughtful customer looking to live consciously, without sacrificing quality. The products we design help you make informed choices, and in return benefit craft communities, particularly women collectives we’ve partnered with.

So how do we do this?

We sought out craft units across rural India that enable women artisans to take control of their livelihood through financial independence. Beyond the opportunity, artisans are provided with counselling, financial training, and another reason to live their lives proudly. Few even go on to become the sole bread-earners in their households.

Our products don’t just tell any story, but reflect theirs too. Designed in Amsterdam, ethically produced in India; Uvaacha is made for the world. We hope you will join us on this journey.
